Welding & Fabrication

Probia offers high-quality MIG, TIG, and ARC welding carried out by fully coded welders using the latest industry-leading equipment. We work across all grades of stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel to deliver both bespoke fabrications and batch production with accuracy and reliability.

Whether you require one-off components or volume manufacturing, our skilled welding team ensures structural integrity and an exceptional finish every time.

MIG Welding

MIG welding, or Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), is a high-efficiency welding process that uses a continuously fed wire electrode to create a strong, clean weld. The wire is heated as it’s fed through the welding torch and melts to join metals at the weld point. This method is ideal for mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, and is widely used for both light fabrication and high-volume production due to its speed and precision.

TIG Welding

TIG welding is one of the most precise and versatile welding methods available. Known for delivering exceptionally high-quality and clean welds, it’s ideal for critical applications and intricate work. TIG welding uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode, allowing for greater control and superior finishes on stainless steel, aluminium, and other non-ferrous metals.

ARC Welding

Arc welding, also known as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), is one of the most established and cost-effective welding techniques. Using a consumable electrode to generate an electric arc, this method is highly reliable for heavy-duty applications and outdoor use. Arc welding is well-suited for structural fabrication, repair work, and a wide range of mild and alloy steels.
